Maintaining and Storing Stainless Steel Jewelry
Stainless steel jewelry doesn’t tarnish or corrode and doesn’t require special care. While it is extremely scratch resistant, if abused it can scratch. Wear and store your pieces in a way that minimizes any contact with other items that can damage your stainless steel jewelry. If your jewelry does get scratched, you can always have it professionally polished by a jeweler. It is best if you keep your stainless steel items in individual bags or pouches.
Helpful Tips and Things to Avoid

-
Avoid harsh chemicals. Bleach and chlorine can damage the surface of stainless steel metal, therefore, we recommend you remove any jewelry before swimming in chlorinated pools.
-
If you choose to go with a jewelry cleaner, make sure that it is safe to use on stainless steel metals, as some cleaners can be abrasive and scratch steel.
-
Avoid storing your jewelry with other sharp objects or jewelry as this could scratch it. Instead, store your stainless steel jewelry separately in a fabric-lined box or the cloth pouch that was included with your item.

FINE JEWELRY CARE
Gold is tarnish-resistant but can get dirty or smudged. To care for your VALENCIA KEY fine jewelry, we recommend cleaning it with a mild detergent or ammonia solution. You can use a soft brush but avoid using an abrasive material as it can scratch the gold. Be sure to rinse and wipe clean.is

If you have a fine jewelry piece that contains a pearl, extra care should be taken. Cultured pearls are precious jewels and should be treated accordingly. Cosmetics, hair sprays, and perfume should be applied before putting on pearl jewelry. Extra care can be taken by wiping the pearl carefully with a soft cloth to remove any traces of these substances when you take off the jewelry. You can also wash your pearl with mild soap and water. Do not clean cultured pearls with any chemicals, abrasives or solvents.
